Antonietta Collins

Antonietta Toni Collins is an Mexican American Sportscaster. She is currently employed by ESPN as a anchor for SportsCenter and sometimes hosts SportsNation. Her first assignment with ESPN in the year 2016. She is the daughter of the reporter for television Maria Antonieta Collins. Antonietta was bilingual since the time she turned nine. It is this skill that helped her get her first role as a Univision Production Assistant in Miami. In Miami, she collaborated with producers for national shows such as Nuestra Belleza Latina Premios Lo Nuestro Premios Juventud Primer Impacto. She was hired as an reporter at CBS St. Petersburg. CBS St. Petersburg affiliate in the following year. In 2009 she moved into Rio Grande Valley, Texas to work as an investigative reporter for The Spanish station KNVO TV 48 Univision and Fox2 News. Reports on her show covered immigration issues, drug trafficking, and other issues on both the Texas and Mexico border. Additionally, she worked as an anchor and Spanish reporter for the newscast from 5 p.m. and anchor and reporter for the newscast of 9 p.m. in English and also a Spanish reporter from 10 p.m. Also, she was often requested to fill in as an anchor for weather and sports. Deportes 23 was Univision Dallas affiliate where she took on other responsibilities. She wrote pieces to The NBA, Dallas Cowboys' postseason, NBA ALDS ALCS World Series or Finals FC Dallas. Additionally, she was the producer of the local Univision 23 sports program Accion Deportiva Extra on which she was anchor herself. She was a host of sports for the morning program that is Despierta America Deportes. In addition, she served as anchor of the sports segment for Primer Impacto, a magazine program on the UniMas Network and Contacto Deportivo. Antonietta's parents were originally of Veracruz Mexico. The city of Mexico City she was conceived on the 22nd November 1985. She has an older sister. She is the older sister. Her parents divorced soon after and in 1995 her mother was remarried to one of the naval architects called Fabio Fajardo who died from kidney cancer in 2006. She stayed in Canton Ohio with her older sister during the summer and was provided with the opportunity of a job. Antonietta was about to graduate from high school but already knew what she was going to be doing. It turned out that she was a fan of the campus as well as the fact that it provided the degree she was looking for. She finished school and went to the University as a major in media studies. Her professor Mark Bergmann, who managed WRMU FM and was student in her class, developed an ongoing friendship with the student. He encouraged her to be self-confident and also his love for journalism deeply affected her. She was determined to live up to the expectations of him and not failed him.
